What is the Aurean Cloak?
The Aurean Flow Cloak is a hand-finished sterling silver ring cover designed for the Oura Ring Generation 4. It slides over your Oura Ring in three seconds and turns it into jewelry. The Cloak wraps the outside of the ring while the inside stays open against your skin, so every sensor keeps working.
What is it made from?
Sterling Silver 925 in both finishes. The silver Cloak is rhodium-plated for a permanent shine. The gold Cloak has 2.5 microns of premium gold plating over the same Sterling 925 core. Both resist tarnish and use the same materials you'd find in fine jewelry.
Will it block my Oura Ring's sensors?
No. The Cloak only wraps the outside of your Oura Ring. The inside stays open against your skin, so every sensor keeps working. Heart rate, temperature, blood oxygen, and movement all read like normal. We tested every reading against a bare ring and saw no difference.
Does it fit my ring?
The Flow Cloak is built for the Oura Ring Gen 4 only, in all 12 sizes (4 through 15). A Gen 5 Cloak is coming next. Gen 4 Ceramic and Gen 3 have different geometries and won't fit, and other smart rings (Ultrahuman, Galaxy, RingConn) won't fit either.
What size should I order?
Order the same size as your Oura Ring. The Cloak is sized to the outside of every Oura Ring Gen 4 size, so if you wear an Oura size 8, you order a Cloak size 8. No remeasuring needed.
How does it go on?
It slides on. Three seconds. No tools, no glue, no permanent install. The Oura comes off your finger briefly while you slide the Cloak over it, then both go back on together.
Can I wear it in the shower or pool?
No. Keep the Cloak away from water. Chlorine and prolonged water exposure wear down the plating on any fine jewelry, and Aurean is no exception. Slide it off before showering, swimming, or anything else involving water.
Can I sleep in it?
We recommend taking it off before sleep. Pressure against the band overnight can wear the surface faster, and your Oura captures sleep data either way. Slide the Cloak off, put your bare Oura back on, sleep, then slide the Cloak back on in the morning.
Can I wear it at the gym?
Take it off for workouts. Heavy lifting, contact sports, and sweat all wear down fine jewelry faster than daily wear does. The Cloak is built for everyday wear, not athletic wear.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with the included cloth. Keep away from water, perfume, and lotion. Remove before workouts and sleep. Store in the ring case when you're not wearing it. The care card in your box has the full guide.
Will the plating wear off?
Both finishes are designed to hold up to daily wear when cared for properly. Rhodium plating on the silver Cloak is the most durable finish in fine jewelry and resists tarnish well. Gold plating wears more slowly with light, intentional wear. Following the care guide makes the difference between years of wear and months.

Each Cloak is made to order. 6 to 8 weeks from order to delivery. We email you at every step, from cast to finish to shipped, so you always know where yours is.

Yes. Free worldwide shipping, with duties included. No surprise fees at delivery.
Can I return it?
Yes. 30-day returns on unworn Cloaks in original condition. Email hello@aurean.shop to start a return.
Will there be more finishes or styles?
Yes. The Flow Cloak in silver and gold is the first piece. A Gen 5 Cloak is coming next. From there, we'll keep adding finishes, styles, and ring sizes for smart rings people don't take off.
